Good news! We are open over the Easter Weekend.

Come and join us for a lovely ride around grounds of Stansted Park.

Father Christmas and his helpers have taken over the rails and have been very busy decorating the station and putting the lights on in the woods.

Santa Specials will be running each Wednesday and Saturday

Santa will be at the railway every Weds & Sat from 3rd Dec to 20th Dec.

The railway will be closed for maintenance from Saturday 21st Dec to 3rd March inclusive, re-opening on Wednesay 4th March.

One Very Happy Theo!

Steve Carr, one of our dedicated volunteers, made a 3D printed nameplate for one of our locomotives called ‘Theo’.

One of our regular visitors to the railway is also called Theo, so Steve kindly made a duplicate for him. Thank you Steve.

Welcome aboard Harry

Harry takes his very first driving lesson

Harry, our latest and youngest volunteer, joined us last July and has become a valuable member of the team. Harry’s confidence has grown over the past few months and he has completed all aspects of guarding the train, managing the station and running the ticket office with ease.

Due to Harry’s commitment (and with special permission of the owners), he is now starting his driver training course.
